Suncatacher for Plants vs Zombies

    Do you enjoy playing Plants vs Zombies? Do you get frustrated because the sun keeps disappearing on you before you can collect it? I too got annoyed by seeing all this sun just sitting on the ground waiting to be picked up but I also needed to drop various plants to stop the zombie invasion.

    I decided to see if anyone else had this problem and discovered that while several attempted solutions, none of them were reliable. So, being the programmer that I am, I wrote one. And it works...quite well.

    Once you download the program, you run Plants vs Zombies and then you run the Suncatcher program. No installation necessary. No registry entries are made. The program cleanly runs and exits.

    You plant your plants as normal and when you are ready to pick up the sunshine on the ground, you press the LEFT-CONTROL button. (It's on the bottom left of your keyboard.) Suncatcher will then "click" over 300 locations on the screen collecting all the sun and coins on the ground. (Even presents if they are dropped.)

Once you have pressed Left-Control, you wait a fraction of a second and let the Suncatcher collect the sun. Then you resume playing the game. Plant a couple of plants, activate the Suncatcher, and resume playing. Once you get the hang of it, you'll will not wish to go back to the traditional way of playing!

Suncatcher also works for the Zen Garden.

Tree of Wisdom:

The Tree of Wisdom gives wisdom and stops giving wisdom after 100 feet. But there is an unlock once the Tree of Wisdom gets to 1,000 feet tall. Buying all that fertilizer and planting it seems monotonous to me, so I added a couple of hot-keys to make this task a little easier:

Pressing F6 on this screen will purchase ten (10) bags of fertilizer. This will cost $25,000 and take a couple of seconds to execute.

BONUS

This will also pick up three (3) or four (4) bottles of bug spray, depending on how many you have. However, it will attempt to purchase ten (10) so you will see some extra mouse movements.

Pressing F7 on the Tree of Wisdom will consume ten (10) bags of fertilizer.

Zen Gardening

Pressing F9 here will water all the plants in your Zen Garden.	Pressing F10 here will play music for your Zen Garden Warning! Make certain you have the phonograph player or this may sell off ALL your plants!

Pressing Alt-F9 and Alt-F10 here will water and play music for your nocturnal plants respectively.	Pressing Alt-F11 here will play music for your aquatic plants. Warning! Make certain you have the phonograph player or this may sell off ALL your plants!

Suncatcher helps you enjoy the game, by removing the more tedious mouse-clicking. The game is meant to be pleasurable, it is not meant to frustrate you. Suncatcher removes much of that frustration.

Farming Mode

Once Suncatcher was "finished", I soon discovered many things I wanted to add. One of them was the ability to make money while sleeping. Popcap added the snail feature, which if you gave it chocolate, the snail would go around collecting coins for one (1) hour. That's fine for an hour but what about overnight?

Enter yet another feature for Suncatcher.

Pressing 'F12' at the Zen Garden will water all your plants as well as play music for them. It will then wait one (1) minute and do this again; collecting all coins which were generated during the previous minute. Pressing 'F11' will exit Farming Mode.

Now you do not need to purchase the snail. Now you can generate as much money as you need. An almost full garden will generate a few thousand coins per hour so imagine if you let this run overnight?
