Feline Airlines

What is the Feline Airlines Guild (FA) in Guild Wars 2 all about?

Feline Airline is a general Player Versus Environment (PvE) guild.

What are the requirements of Feline Airline?

With the plethora of specialized guilds which have sprung up, like PvP guilds, WvW guilds, raid training guilds, real-life friend guilds and the obligatory personal guilds, FA has no mandatory representation.

However, we do have one requirement – that one truly cares about FA and wants the guild to succeed – to help the guild grow – to mentor newer players – to do achievements together. Basically your normal guild stuff instead of just harvesting – leeching – the level 4 guild nodes.

When does Feline Airline do guild missions?

To be frank, we no longer do guild missions as a guild. (They got boring and FA has plenty of favor.)  However, if you want those guild commendations, every member has the ability to start guild missions.

Treks – One only needs to find one (1) point to get credit – even if the mission fails. So for guild commendations, all treks are viable.

Bounties – One only gets credit if ALL bounties have been completed. This is only realistic with the easy – one bounty – option. Some of the easy bounties are just about solo-able, so with one other person or a couple of NPC’s, this level of bounty can be completed. Medium (3) and Hard (5) are just too difficult to organize and succeed. For guild commendations, we recommend only the easy bounty.

Races – This is an interesting mission. Members get transformed into an animal which must navigate a course filled with multiple dangers. If fifteen (15) members complete the course in the required time, then guild credit is given.

Each member who completes the course in the required time gets a guild commendation. The intended way for this mission to be done is for some members to protect the fragile transformed members and then switch roles once the course has been completed.

However we have found a quirk with races – completion can be credited to multiple guilds at once. Here is how it works:

Represent a guild → and start the guild race mission. You can do this up to five (5) times for five guilds.

Complete the obstacle course.

--- Once the course has been completed fifteen (15) times… ---

Represent a guild → end the mission early. This will entitle each guild to gain favor. The player will only get the mission reward (commendations) once. Do this for each guild that requires favor.

For guild commendation purposes, any difficulty will do. We recommend scouting the courses and assisting other guilds and in the process, guild commendations and favor will be granted.

Puzzles and Challenges: As you expect, rewards are given upon completion. Most guilds do not do these as there are far easier ways to get favor and these take too long for rewards. Even the guild commendation is not enough incentive to players to do these.

The possible exception to this would be the Scratch Sentry Defense mission. This mission can be done with only three (3) people. The difficulty level has little effect on the mission.

Do you do any raiding or raid training?

At the current time, no. We are in the process of getting teachers and tutors and mentors who handle the requisites before raids are scheduled. More up-to-date information will be listed in the message of the day.

What is your discord channel?

At the time of this writing, we do not have a Discord channel. That too is in the works.

I would like an invite. How do I get one?
